The greatest boon of the web word is the access to the works of authors , poets and historians of various countries through the web world.The laptop or the computer screen and now the mobile has really become a window to world or countries we can not visit or know otherwise.
Today , I take up a quote of the sufi Poet but the topic is the age old topic of Happiness.
Hafez was a Persian poet who lauded the joys of love and wine but also targeted religious hypocrisy. His collected works are regarded as a pinnacle of Persian Literature are to be found in the homes of most people in Iran, who learn his poems by heart and still use them as proverbs and sayings. His life and poems have been the subject of much analysis, commentary and interpretation, influencing post-14th century Persian writing more than any other author.
The quote goes like in a manner as if the Happiness is an entity outside and then divulging that it is to be found within.
What is within us still alludes us as it keeps on disappearing on the course of life as we link happiness with milestones in life.Happiness has nothing to do with the stations we arrive at as we travel the Life's journey but the manner of travelling.
Ever since happiness heard your name,
it has been running through the streets trying to find you.
I wish I could show you
when you are lonely or in the darkness,
the astonishing light of your own being.

Happiness is not happening
for my "I"ness is running in the vices streets .
We are dazzled by the Materialistic Fireworks
happening every instant in the Mind's Horizon .
We find no time to sit with ourselves
always cornered by mind to submission
ending up like a lone crusaders of My Mind
in the Crowded Rat Race of Senses !
The wavering Vices are tamed only by The "Name"
The monkey Mind stops jumping and becomes Lame .
Mind creates a unfulfilled desire and happiness is on fire.
Our success or failure depends upon
to retain eternal Happiness depends on
the harmony or disharmony with the divine will.
When we are able to abdicate all our wills to Him,
He harmonizes His Will with our wills.
That is the stage of complete surrender.
Only complete surrender makes our soul
in sync with the Supreme Soul.
The drop once merged becomes the wave in the Sea.
The crests of happiness or troughs of sorrows
makes the wave in harmony with the divine will.
Once we come out of the Mind's Complex ,
Happiness lingers like rays emanating
from a Never Setting sun !
Life deals problems to you like a game of cards !
Your trump cards are
sincerity,hard work and dedication
to solve them.
These three sow the seeds of Happiness in Karma.
Using all the three cards is always ending in Happiness !
The Happiness if linked to the fruits of your Karma will yield sour fruits of unfulfilled expectations.And if delinked will shower the blissful rains of having done it to your satisfaction.
The Top Most Degree
in the University of Life is Eternal Happiness.
And the teachings to attain it and retain it are tested by various life events.
Happiness is the Most Important Event in your Life
which you only have to manage
with a Little Divine Help by seeking His Grace.
