Today I am taking up a quote which I strongly identify with.
The thinking of this great business executive works
not only in Corporate , Government, Private circles
but also in your personal life among relationships and in parenting.
The quote is about -Self Confidence
which is at the Root Cause of any Performance of Excellence
in any discipline or field of modern or ancient times.

author, and chemical engineer. He was chairman and CEO of General Electric

between 1981 and 2001. During his tenure at GE, the company's value rose

When he retired from GE he received a severance payment of $417 million,

the largest such payment in history.

Before I take up Imparting Self-confidence in others ,

let me talk a little about Confidence.

It never comes from having all the answers;

it comes from being open to all the questions.

The art of developing confidence

is in fact a science -the science of action.

The action begins of course with asking all the possible questions.

And the action is completed only

when one finds the answers to the questions by action.

All the questions may not be right

but action only gives you the right answers.

There is no other way to know the right questions.

And as you act upon the queries raised to yourself.

the thought process develops to ask the right questions and

find the smartest ways to find answers to these questions.

That is confidence for you.

Confidence is positive energy and it is about its sustenance

irrespective of the success and failure resulting from action.

When your values are crystal clear ,

the action and questions become more clear.

Confidence is going to the battle field of action without the fear of falling from the horse.

Shouldering responsibility is first acceptance of your self confidence to deal with the unknown and identifying with the cause .

Once the cause is clear and confidence is there the job gets done .

A True Leader remains Positive in both the situations -

favorable or adverse !

Being Positive Stems from Self-confidence.

In fact being positive & Self confidence are
always coexisting & are complimentary,

but may not bring in Compliments from all quarters !!!

Rather the Self-confidence is SEEN as overconfidence

by others who lack Self-confidence!

Only a Positive Person filled with Self-confidence can Impart Self-confidence in others.

I fully agree with the statement that it is the most important thing one can do.

Rather, I would tend to Go one step further

& opine that it is The Best Permanent Gift

to Give to the Persons around you for it seals the Relationship

of the Giver & the Recipient permanently.
